Project Complexities
  • Traffic and pedestrian access had to be carefully planned to facilitate the safe continued use of the facilities.
  • The works were programmed to allow certain rooms to remain in use and then de-canted to rooms which had been completed.

Scope of Works

Two new build extensions and building alteration works to a community centre used as a nursery. The internal remodelling works involved the creation of new openings and removal of internal partitions and shower/wc facilities on the ground floor. These were remodelled into new areas for an Activity Room Store, Disabled WC, Storage and Wet Play area, Administrative Office extension and Medical Counselling Room. To achieve these, the following trades were utilized:
