To maintain this level of proficiency, Art Contracts Ltd employs the services of a professional Health & Safety consultant to ensure that we are always kept up to date and in compliance with the latest Health & Safety matters.
We are regularly undertaking contracts which require compliance to CDM (Construction Design & Management Regulations 1994) and always compile site specific Risk Assessments, Method Statements and provide COSHH information for Health & Safety manuals. Art Contracts Ltd is working towards 100% CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) compliance for operatives and has an exemplary record of Health & Safety to date and will continue to commit resources in an effort to maintain this standard. As commitment to Health & Safety matters, Art Contracts Ltd has taken it upon itself to register with Independent assessment schemes CHAS and OHSAS 18001.
Construction Skills Certification Scheme - CSCS
Art Contracts Limited is working towards 100% CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) compliance for operatives and has achieved the PLATINUM certificate of commitment, which requires over 90% of operatives having a valid registration card.
Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme - CHAS
Art Contracts Limited is a CHAS (Contractors’ Health & Safety Assessment Scheme) Accredited contractor.
Occupational Health & Safety Standard - OHSAS18001
The OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health & Safety standard was introduced in 1999 as a way for organisations to demonstrate their commitment to Health & Safety management. As such, Art Contracts Limited has successfully undergone assessment by an accredited third party. Certificate no. GB13672.

Art Contracts Limited has recently received accreditation with SAFEcontractor, a leading edge scheme designed to help industry improve its safety record. Under the SAFEcontractor system, businesses undergo a vetting process which examines Health & Safety procedures and the companies track record for safe practice.
